I Alex Cross Movie

Director Rob Cohen is working on I Alex Cross, an upcoming crime thriller movie loosely based on the novel of the same name written by James Patterson. The project has been developed as an origin tale of the detective made famous by Morgan Freeman in "Kiss the Girls" and "Along Came a Spider". Actor Tyler Perry got the lead role as Alex Kross, and Actor Matthew Fox will play the villain. The cast will also include Ed Burns and Jean Reno. The film should be released sometime in 2012.

Plot:
"Washington D.C. detective Alex Cross tracks a serial rapist who may have murdered his pregnant wife years before."

Tyler Perry isn't as talented as Morgan Freeman... But well, since the film is directed by Rob Cohen, let's give a chance to this new take on Alex Cross.
